Question

How did you get started with creating art?

I was always interested in art but it took me a while to discover my passion for all things illustration. I was raised in an artistic household with both my parents being designers and even studied Fashion design in university.

Regardless of everything that went down in 2020, it was the year where life slowed down and allowed me to discover myself more, hence my interest in illustration and digital art in general and since Covid gave us a lot of time to spare I started experimenting more and more everyday. Still am.

Question

How would you describe your artistic style? Has it changed?

I’d say that my style is fun, colorful, funky, happy. And it keeps on changing with time and experience. And as a 22 year old I feel like my style is evolving at the same time as me.

Question

Where do you usually find inspiration for your works?

My inspiration is super random. It comes from all sorts of things. Fashion, street art, everydayness, my personal life and most importantly my Lebanese roots and Beirut city.

Question

What do you hope your audience will get from your work?

I hope my art can make people smile . With all of the darkness in the world right now it’s nice to have a few things left to smile about. I also hope people relate to my art and my vision. Because a lot of it is inspired by current events and trends. And I hope my art makes people feel. Whether it be sadness, reassurance, happiness, or just the feeling of Home.
