Question

How did you get started with creating art?

I don’t recall how I started to be honest. Art making was influenced by my mom, and I gradually improved my skills through practising and experimenting.

Question

How would you describe your artistic style? Has it changed?

My artistic style is free and a bit spontaneous with an imperfect approach. Basically, I like to paint like a kid using vibrant colours. It is an opposite approach to how I deal with life, breaking out of the organised and perfectionist self.

My artwork shifted from drawing characters and figures to natural scenes and flowers to more abstract shapes. Art is a journey, and it’s based on my journey, so it’s constantly evolving and changing.

Question

Where do you usually find inspiration for your works?

My upbringing was quite introverted, so naturally, I’m not focused outwardly. Most of my work inspiration is based on expressing life experiences. I am expressing thoughts and emotions.

Question

What do you hope your audience will get from your work?

I want my audience to feel connected to their emotions and that we all struggle differently yet similarly. I also want my work to bring them inspiration and a pleasant, colourful presence.
